Ambassador held discussion with executives of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation

On 26 October 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, hosted a dinner in honour of Mr. YATABE Yoichiro, Executive Vice President (responsible for sales), Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Mr. NAKAMURA Tatsuo, Senior Executive Officer (responsible for sales strategy); and Mr. EGAMI Hiroyuki, General Manager of ASEAN & Oceania Division.

Mr. YATABEemphasizedthe importance of Thailand as the largest manufacturing base and the support from all stakeholders in Thailand is indispensable to the company’s success. The Ambassador praised Mitsubishi Motors' role in the development of automotive industry in Thailand, noting that the company is indeed the first automotive exporter from Thailand.
He hoped that Mitsubishi Motors and Thailand would, in harmony, develop next-generation automotive to move towards a zero emission society.
