Ambassador presented trophies for the World Nuad Thai Championship – Japan’s Finalist Competition

On 27 October 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presented the trophies of H.E. Mr. Palakorn Suwannarat, Privy Councillor, to 6 winners of the World Nuad Thai Championship – Japan’s Finalist Competition - at the Royal Thai Embassy’s Hall. The said competition was held on 15 June this year at Wat Pa Buddha Rangsi in Ibaraki Prefecture where Ambassador also attended the closing ceremony.

Ambassador Singtong mentioned in his speech that he was impressed by the fact that a lot of Japanese show interest in Thai massage and even practice to become professional. This clearly reflects the close relations between Thailand and Japan, as well as mutual admiration of each other’s cultures. He also thanked the World Association of Nuad Thai & Spa and the Nuad Thai Association in Japan for their relentless efforts in organizing various activities to promote Thai massage and affinity towards Thailand.
