On 25 October 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed Mr. Mana Amatanon, Senior General Manager of CP All Public Company Limited; Dr. Pisit Charnkeitkong, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM); and Dr. Thanyalak Tanapakij, Director of Technology and Innovation Network Center, PIM.

Both sides exchanged views on PIM's internship project in Japan which has sent engineering students to work in Japanese companies in Kita-Kyushu. Fukuoka Prefecture has also expressed interest in working with PIM on this project. The ambassador viewed that this project would foster local-to-local relations in a new area and helped enhance the capacity of Thai skilled workers. The ambassador also reaffirmed full support of the Royal Thai Embassy for PIM’s activities in Japan.
