Students from Togoshi Elementary School learned about Thailand and Muay Thai.

On 8 November 2022, 120 students from 5th and 6th grades of Togoshi Elementary School, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, learned about interesting fun facts about Thailand, Thai food and Thai culture, as well as gaining experience on Muay Thai.

Apart from receiving a presentation on Thailand by the Embassy, the students also took part in quizzes about Thailand and enjoyed the Muay Thai demonstration by Hamakko Muay Thai Gym. The demonstration was actively participated by both the school’s students and teachers.

Before the session concluded, the students expressed their appreciation to the Embassy by dancing in a Japanese cheering song, giving a big impression for the Embassy’s officers.
