Ambassador welcomed Thai Airways’ resumption of direct flight between Bangkok and Sapporo.

On 2 November 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the resumption flight of Sapporo event organised by Thai Airways International at New Chitose Airport, Hokkaido Prefecture.
Ambassador Singtong welcomed the resumption of the direct flight between Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport, after being suspended during COVID-19 pandemic. The direct flights will certainly help promote exchanges of peoples and closer ties between Thailand and Japan even further. Economy and tourism of both countries will also be stimulated by the flight resumption.
