Team Thailand in Tokyo attended the Japan-Thailand Business Forum New Year Party

On 16 January 2023, Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, together with Heads of Team Thailand offices in Tokyo and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, joined the New Year's party organized by the Japan-Thailand Business Forum (JTBF) at Sumitomo Kaikan. The event was held once again after a three-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ambassador and Mr. KITAYAMA Teisuke, the JTBF President, reaffirmed their commitment for further strengthening a close cooperation to enhance economic relations between Thailand and Japan in ways consistent with the recent elevation of the bilateral relations to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Both sides enjoyed a friendly atmosphere where Team Thailand could again physically engage with Friends of Thailand.
