The Thai Festival has been held for 22 times. After the physical event at the Yoyogi Park was halted for 3 years due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year, the Thai Festival Tokyo will be back to be held at the Yoyogi Park again. Hence, both sides attach great importance to the Thai Festival Tokyo 2023 in order to bring back happiness and provide business opportunities to Thai and Japanese people. Moreover, this time will be the first time for the Thai Festival Tokyo to be entirely organized under the concept of public-private partnership (PPP). The G-Yu Creative will be the main responsible organizer of the event.
In this connection, the Embassy has arranged various meetings between G-Yu Creative Co., Ltd. and Team Thailand in Tokyo including the Office of Commercial Affairs Tokyo, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Tokyo Office, and a private sector such as Thai Airways, AirAsia, and TV Asahi to explore opportunities for collaboration on the Thai Festival Tokyo.
