Ambassador attended Dusit’s Grand Debut in Japan

On 20 February 2023, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the Grand Debut of Thailand’s top-tier hotel brand “Dusit”at the Royal Thai Embassy Hall. The event, which was also attended by Dusit International’s executives Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Executive Committee, and Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, attracted over 60 Japanese media to join. It also featured Thai identity accentuated through Canapé created and presented by Thai Michelin star chefs, Bo Lan.

On this occasion, the Ambassador gave opening remarks on Thailand’s tourism industry, highlighting the strong point of Thai hospitality and high-quality service. The Ambassador also mentioned strong relationship between Thailand and Japan which has led to the arrival of “Dusit” in Japan. Dusit’s presence will help promote Thainess and cultural exchange between both countries.

Two of Dusit’s upcoming hotels in Japan will be established in Kyoto. These are ASAI Kyoto Shijo, which will be welcoming guests from June 2023, and followed by Dusit Thani Kyoto, in September 2023.
