Ambassador strengthened relations with Nippon Ham Executives

On 9 March 2023, Mr. KITO Tetsuhiro, Executive Vice President of Nippon Ham, and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, to introduce the company as well as its trade and investment relations with Thailand over the past 40 years. Mr. KITO also expressed gratitude towards the Ambassador for the recent PR activity to promote chicken back ribs imported from Thailand, which has received a good feedback from consumers.
In addition, both sides discussed the trend of plant-based food, the potential of Thailand's food industry, and the Embassy’s activities that the company can take part in, such as Thai Festival. The Ambassador also thanked the company for importing large amount of chicken meat from Thailand every year, and reiterated the readiness to cooperate with the company to continue promoting Thai food in the Japanese market.
