Ambassador attended the “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition in Yokohama

On 15 March 2023, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes 2022 Photo Exhibition in Yokohama” on his capacity as a Member of the Executive Committee.

The Photo Exhibition was graced by Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, the Honorary Chairperson of Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Photo Exhibition. Mr. YAMANAKA Takeharu, Mayor of Yokohama, and H.E. Mr. Pierre Ferring, Ambassador of Luxemburg to Japan, as the Chairman of the Executive Committee, also gave an opening remarks.

Japan through Diplomats' Eyes 2022photo competition was organised under the theme of “Japan – on the move”. The selected photographs were exhibited in many cities across Japan. The photographs reflected the perspectives of diplomats in Japan and served as a mean to promote cultural exchanges and strengthen bonds between foreign diplomats in Japan and the Japanese society.

The Exhibition is now open for public from 15-20 March 2023 at Yokohama Minatomirai Gallery A, Queen’s Mall.
