Representatives from various Japanese Organizations paid a courtesy call on Ambassador before posting in Thailand


On 22 March 2023, four representatives from Japanese public and private organizations, i.e., Mr. NAGAI Kentaro from Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, Ms. OSAWA Yurie, from Ministry of the Environment of Japan, Mr. KOBAYASHI Yosuke from Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan and Mr. SUZUKI Akiyoshi from the Federation of Automobile Workers' Unions of Japan paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, to introduce themselves before being posted to the Embassy of Japan in Thailand.

On this occasion, the Ambassador wished them a pleasurable stay in Thailand. The Ambassador expressed hopes that they will support the relationship between the two countries and become Friends of Thailand. He also suggested that after returning to Japan, they may consider joining the Japan-Thailand Business Forum (JTBF), which is an association of former executives and staff of Japanese public/private sectors with experience in Thailand.
