Both sides cordially exchanged views on various matters regarding relations between Toyota and Thailand, especially the cooperation with the CP Group in producing hydrogen from biomass and the next-generation automotive industry in Thailand. Both shared a perspective that, to move towards a carbon-neutral society, each country should pursue ways and means that are suitable to its own resources and capacity.

On this occasion, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of Toyota to the Thai economy, and hoped to see Toyota to take a lead in promoting the next-generation automotive industry in Thailand. Mr. TOYODA also expressed gratitude towards the Thai government for consistently supporting Toyota, and assured the company’s intention to contribute to Thailand in continuation of what the company has done for the past 60 years.
