On 19 May 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo hosted Promotional Eventfor the 23^rdThai Festival in Tokyo at the Embassy's Hall.AmbassadorSingtongLapisatepunand Ms. YupharetEakturapakal, CEO of G-U Creative Co., Ltd., briefed Japanese media on activities and highlights of the Festivalwhich would be held between 20-21 May 2023 at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.

This year marks the first collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy and G-U Creative Co., Ltd., private partner, in organising the Thai Festival in Tokyo, and it also marks the first return of the event to Yoyogi Park after a three-year pause. During the PR event, there were mini-performances by artists participating in the Festival, including Stamp Apiwat, Bell Warisara, The Glass Girls, and LA-ONG-FONG who composed and performed a song called "Banzai Chaiyo," which is the Festival’s theme song.
