President of Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly and Chairman of Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Japan – Thailand Friendship League paid a courtesy call on Thai Ambassador

On 20 March 2023, Mr. SHIKIDA Hiroaki, President of Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly and Chairman of Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Japan – Thailand Friendship League, together with his delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan.
In this occasion, Mr. SHIKIDA expressed his appreciation for the Embassy’s support in facilitating the Yokohama City’s fire equipment donation to the NGO in Thailand. Mr. SHIKIDA also introduced about the International Horticultural Expo 2027 which will be held in Yokohama. Both sides discussed ways to promote Thai-Kanagawa Prefecture relations and support to each other’s Expo activity. Currently, Thailand is actively running a campaign to host Specialised Expo 2028 in Phuket
