Ambassador Gave Opening Remarks at the Reception in Honour of Mr. Kalin Sarasin

On 22 May 2023, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, gave opening remarks at the reception in honor of Mr. Kalin Sarasin on his achievement in receiving the Japanese decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in the fall of 2022, and his assumption of the chairmanship of Toyota Motor (Thailand). The event was held in cooperation between the Royal Thai Embassy and Kasikorn Bank (KBank) at the Royal Thai Embassy’s Hall.

About 50 people participated in the event where most of them have cordial relationship with Mr. Kalin. The guests include executive of Kasikorn Bank, representatives of Toyota Motor Corporation, two chairpersons of the Japan-Thailand Trade and Economic Committee of Keidanren, chairperson and executives of the Japan-Thailand Business Forum, former presidents of JETRO (Bangkok office) and former representatives of Japanese companies in Thailand, and Team Thailand in Tokyo.
