Ambassador Attended at the Reception in honour of the New Chairman of JETRO

On 30 May 2023, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended a reception in honour of Mr. ISHIGURO Norihiko, who took the Chairman and CEO office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) on 1 April 2023, succeeding Mr. SASAKI Nobuhiko. Around 100 of members of the diplomatic corps and JETRO executives joined the event.

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated Mr. ISHIGURO while bidding farewell to Mr. SASAKI who has had a good working relationship with the Royal Thai Embassy during his tenure. The Ambassador also met and exchanged views on the economic relations between Thailand and Japan with JETRO executives who are in charge of Thailand and ASEAN.
