Banpu Group executives paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador to discuss about cooperation

On 20 June 2023, Dr. Kirana Limpaphayom, CEO of Banpu Powers PLC, led a delegation of executives from Banpu Japan for a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, during his business trip to inspect Banpu’s activities in Japan.
Both sides exchanged views on renewable energy in the pursuit of a true Green Economy. A focus of the discussion was on the development of Banpu’s hydrogen technology in Thailand, which received the cooperation of large Japanese companies such as Mitsubishi Corporation. In addition to this, the Ambassador recalled a business networking reception organized by the Royal Thai Embassy which aimed to promote the cooperation among the Thai private sector in Japan. In this connection, Dr. Kirana affirmed that Banpu fully supported this endeavor as it would strengthen Thai businesses in Japan.
