Minister attended investment promotion seminar “Manufacturing Game Changers! It’s Time for Thailand”

On 27 June 2023, Ms. Prangtip Kanchanahattakij, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), on behalf of the Ambassador, delivered an opening speech at the investment promotion seminar “Manufacturing Game Changers! It’s Time for Thailand!” organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand in collaboration with the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) at the Nagoya Marriott Associa hotel in Nagoya.

On this occasion, the Minister/DCM emphasizes a broad range of the long-standing friendship between Thailand and Japan and the importance of Japanese investment in the economic development of Thailand, especially after both countries have elevated their relationship into a comprehensive strategic partnership. The Minister also made a remark on the uniqueness of Nagoya in terms of its location and industrial hub and her hope that investors from Nagoya and nearby cities would be interested in investing more in Thailand.
