Ambassador led a study visit to Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture

On 25 August 2566, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, together with the Team Thailand officials and the Royal Thai Embassy staffs, visited Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, for a study tour at the Kyocera Minatomirai Research Center. This center is a research hub for research and development of technologies related to renewable energy, communications, automotive, IoT, and artificial intelligence. On the same day, the delegation also visited Koei Shoji Co., Ltd., a company that specializes in recycling IT equipment in accordance with the international information security standard. The company’s recycling techniques are recognized as the highest information security in Japan. Koei Shoji also has a plan to invest in Thailand.
