Banpu Japan Executives Bid farewell to the Ambassador

On 5 September 2023, Mr. IDO Mitsuo, CEO of Banpu Japan, and the company’s executives paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, to express gratitude and bid farewell on the Ambassador's retirement.

The two sides discussed the cordial collaboration and friendship between the Royal Thai Embassy and Banpu Japan, as well as the company's contribution in Fukushima Prefecture which is the topic that the Ambassador often raised on various occasions. Finally, the Ambassador stressed the importance of solidifying the Thai private sector in Japan, and expressed hope that Banpu Japan will help spin the effort, despite its challenges at the outset.
