Thai Embassy gave supports to the Thai table tennis para athletes in the ITTF Japan Para Open 2023

Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister Counselor, representing the Royal Thai Embassy, met with the Thai table tennis para athletes who competed in the ITTF Japan Para Open 2023, held from 30 August to 2 September 2023, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Stadium. The Embassy also prepared Thai food lunchbox as a gesture of support for the athletes.

The Embassy is delighted to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the Thai team, including the athletes, coaches, and staff, for their outstanding performance. They achieved remarkable results, securing a total of 11 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 9 bronze medals in this competition.

A special acknowledgment goes to Mr. Rungroj Thainiyom. His exceptional performance over the past week enables him to secure the world number 1 ranking in the categories of men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles, Class 6.
