The Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo dispatched the third batch of essential relief items for humanitarian assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture on 19 January 2024

On 19 January 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo in collaboration with Wannapob Company, a Thai company based in Japan, dispatched 4,000 packs of 5-kilogram Thai grain rice in total of 20,000 kilograms as the third batch of essential relief items for humanitarian assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture, in addition to the relief essentials sent as the first batch on 10 January 2024 and the second batch on 16 January 2024. The relief efforts have been carrying out in cooperation with the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) YOU-I and other related NPOs in the area.

This collaborative effort reflects the commitment of both the Thai governmental and the Thai private entities to stand in solidarity with the affected individuals, providing essential relief to ease the challenges faced by the earthquake victims in Ishikawa Prefecture.
