Thai food and beverage products showcased in FOODEX JAPAN 2024

On 5 March 2024, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva attended the opening ceremony of FOODEX Japan 2024, one of Asia’s largest food and beverage exhibitions at Tokyo Big Sight to promote Thai food products in the Japanese market. 

After the ceremony, the Ambassador visited the “Thai Pavilion” area where 50 booths of Thai companies displayed their quality products, including fresh and frozen fruits, processed food, condiment, and drinks. Their participation was made possible partly by the support of the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo. The Thai Pavilion area also showcased Thai cuisine and Thai fruits certified with the “Thai Select” mark of the Ministry of Commerce to ensure the high quality or their authenticity.  Then, the Ambassador moved on to visit the other 14 booths of Thai food and food-related entrepreneurs whose participated in this year FOODEX was supported by the SME Development Bank of Thailand, the National Food Institute, and the Office of Industrial Affairs, Tokyo.
