Ambassador Visit to HOP INN Asakusa by Erawan Group

On 15 March 2024, upon the invitation by Ms. Pichanun Boonpromgul, President of HOP INN, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva and spouse visited the HOP INN Asakusa, a Thai-brand hotel by the Erawan Group. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss about the hotel’s business which is gaining increasing popularity among Thai and foreign Tourists. The Ambassador also emphasised the Embassy’s support to Thai Businesses, including HOP INN, and advised HOP INN to consider fostering possible partnership with airlines while targeting more customers from the ASEAN region.
Currently, Hop INN is the only Thai-brand hotel in Tokyo while most of the Thai-brand hotels are located in the Kansai Region. The hotel has recently opened the third branch in Tokyo, i.e. Ueno branch, on 15 March 2024, in addition to the Asakusa and Iidabashi branches.
