Ambassador strengthens relationship with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation

On 28 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed Mr. NAKAMURA Tatsuo Representative Executive Officer / Vice President (responsible for sales) of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and executives.

Both sides exchanged views on the company’s investment direction in Thailand, particularly on the electric vehicle (EV). The Ambassador is pleased to learn about Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to promote Thailand as the region hub for the next-generation automobile industry and constructive plan to expand EV investment. The Ambassador also commended the contribution made to the Thai economy by establishing the research and development center in Thailand, including the human resources development center.

On this occasion, Mr. NAKAMURA presented the latest model of the All-New Triton pickup truck, manufactured in Thailand. The truck received positive feedback on its attractive design and received a lot of purchase orders in Thailand and Japan.
