Meeting between the Ambassador Designate and the Director General of the Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department of MOFA

On 5 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador Designate of Thailand to Japan, had a courtesy call on Mr. NAKAMURA Ryo, Director General of the Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
DG NAKAMURA extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador upon his assumption of duty. They discussed ways to further enhance the multi-faceted bilateral cooperation. In addition, Ambassador Witchu shared his three priorities, namely (1) expanding trade, investment and other economic cooperation; (2) deepening the exchanges of best practices through human resource development; and (3) enhancing dialogues and cooperation on regional and global issues.
