Ambassador discussed strategies for promoting small and medium-sized enterprises with Chairman of the Subcommittee on SME Promotion Strategies and Implementation

On 28 March 2024, Mr. Thitiwat Adisornphankul, Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Chairman of the Subcommittee on SME Promotion Strategies and Implementation, Executive Board of Directors, was welcomed by H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, led a board of directors from the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) to visited Japan to meet and discuss with Japanese partner organization.
Both sides exchanged views on the roles of OSMEP in promoting Thai small and medium-sized enterprises entry to global markets, as well as Thai entrepreneurs in the Japanese market. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of understanding consumer behavior, quality products that make a difference, learning excellent marketing way to promote product and value-added strategies of production from various countries, to applied to enhance the role of the OSMEP in pushing Thai products to global markets.
