Mitsubishi Corporation discussed cooperation with Ambassador

On 2 April 2024, Mr. KONDO Kyoya, Senior Vice President, Isuzu Business Division of Mitsubishi Corporation, and his delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. Both sides discussed the trend of the next-generation automobiles, including the recently launched its BEV pickup truck manufactured in Thailand
in March 2024, and cooperation on renewable energy, particularly company’s collaboration with PTT on biofuels and e-fuels research. This might be an opportunity for Thailand since the country has abundant agricultural resources, which could be explored for biofuels and e-fuels for zero-emission vehicle development. The Ambassador also recommended the company to consider various pieces of topnotch research papers in Thailand on clean energy development for expanding the business opportunities.
