Ambassador met with President of Japan Foundation

On April 23 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, called on Mr. KUROSAWA Shinya, President of Japan Foundation. Both sides discussed ways to promote mutual understanding and cultural exchange between Thailand and Japan, both short-term and long-term plans. One of the important projects is "Partnership to Co-create a Future with the Next Generation: WA Project 2.0" which aims to promote comprehensive people-to-people exchanges between Japan and ASEAN, focusing on the next generation, and will be implemented from the year 2024 to 2033.
Japan Foundation is an organisation under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The existing programme is constantly successful. Its operation focuses on 3 areas, namely Arts and Culture Exchange; Japanese- Language Education; Japanese Studies and Global Partnerships.
