03/04/2024

On 3 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over the 2024 academic year online orientation of Thai KOSEN students. The Ambassador congratulated the 23 students who successfully passed the rigorous selection process and urged them to realize the value of the government scholarship. In this regard, the Ambassador also encouraged the students to possess "perseverance" in both studying and living aboard,
to have "determination" in achieving their educational goals, and to make the most of this "opportunity" to learn about Japan's strengths, and to “share” the fruits of this opportunity for the greater benefit of the Thai society.
The KOSEN program’s curriculum focuses on science, technology, engineering, and other fundamental subjects. Currently, there are 133 government scholarship recipients from Thailand studying in 26 KOSEN institutions across Japan.
