Thai Massage Association in Japan paid a courtesy call on Ambassador

On 26 April 2024, Mr. Lawanna Pratchayakorn, President of Thai Massage Association in Japan, along with the Association’s committee members, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. Both sides discussed ways to promote Thai massage in Japan and how to enhance the skill of Thai massage therapists in Japan. The Ambassador expressed the Embassy’s readiness to support the Association’s initiatives to enhance the image and standard of Thai massage.
A non-profit organization, the Thai Massage Association in Japan was established in 2014 with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy and the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. Currently, the Association has over 200 members.
