Ambassador welcomed Secretary General of Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC)

On 28 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed Mr. Piyawat Sivaraks, Secretary-General of Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) and his delegation. The Meeting focused on enhancing education cooperation between Thailand and Japan, particularly the KOSEN Government Scholarship program. Both parties also discussed and exchanged views on human resource management of overseas offices of Thai government agencies, including performance evaluation, salary adjustments and fringe benefits of both government officials and local staffs.

Currently, 210 Thai government scholarship students are studying in Japan, of which 132 are KOSEN government scholarship students, attending institutions across the country.
