Sumitomo Corporation Delegation Meets with Ambassador to Discuss Business and Sustainability

On 2 July 2024, Mr. Takayuki SUMITA, Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Corporation, along with his delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. The two sides discussed the company’s existing areas of cooperation with Thailand and their future direction. They also exchanged views on Japan’s possible support for Thai private sector to improve their manufacturing and production activities to become more environmentally friendly and better addressing decarbonization priorities, such that the country can achieve sustainable economic growth in a longer term.
