Ambassador welcomes Election Commission of Thailand and Participants from the First Batch of Democratic Political Leadership Development Course

     On February 6, 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, received a courtesy call of Mr. Pakorn Mahannop, an election commissioner, who led executives from the Office of the Election Commission of Thailand and participants from the first batch of Democratic Political Leadership Development Course to have a discussion with the Ambassador during their study visit to Japan.

     The Ambassador and the delegation’s representatives exchanged views on Japan's political party system and its election management practices, from which Thailand can gain valuable insights. In addition, the delegation also attended a briefing on Thailand’s overseas voting experiences in Japan at the Embassy’s Hall.
