Executive Officer, Assistant Executive Vice President Mitsubishi Motors Corporation pays a courtesy call to Ambassador

On 12 March 2025, Mr. TSUGENO Masaki, Corporate Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, at the Embassy, on the occasion of his new appointment as Executive Officer.

Ambassador congratulated Mr. TSUGENO on his promotion and expressed appreciation for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s longstanding cooperation with Thailand. Both sides discussed the development and future direction of Japan’s automotive industry as well as strategies to address challenges at both domestic and international levels, including Japan’s focus on multi-pathway approach during the transition of its automotive sector.

The Ambassador reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to supporting Japan’s automotive industry, highlighting the latest incentivising measures given to the industry for the mutual benefit of both countries.
