Minister Welcomes the 7th Thai - Japanese Cultural Exchange Youth Ambassadors Delegation

On March 18, 2025, Mrs. Vipavee Rangsimaporn, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, welcomed 9 Thai participants in the 7th Thai-Japanese Cultural Exchange Youth Ambassadors Programme organised by the International Manpower Development Organization, Japan (IM Japan). The participants were briefed on the overview of bilateral relations between Thailand and Japan and given advice on living in Japan as well as on how to leverage their experiences from the programme for their future. Also present in the briefing were Ms. Pornrawee Nakpipat, Minister Counsellor (Labour), representatives from the Ministry of Labour of Thailand, and executives of IM Japan.

The Thai-Japanese Cultural Exchange Youth Ambassadors programme was initiated in 1999 with the aim of strengthening Thai - Japanese relations through cultural exchanges among high school and vocational students. Until the present, a total of 115 Thai youths have participated in this programme.
