Ambassador welcomes H.E. Mr. Oguzhan Ertugrul Ambassador of Turkey to Japan

On 24 March 2025 H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed H.E. Mr. Oguzhan Ertugrul Ambassador of Turkey for an introductory call. The two sides had a conversation on topics of mutual interest.

Ambassador Witchu provided an overview of Thailand - Japan relations, particularly in the areas of economic cooperation and tourism while H.E. Mr. Oguzhan shared his insights on Turkey – Japan collaboration regarding economic, social and people-to-people exchanges, as well as Turkey’s relations with countries in Asian and European regions.

Currently, approximately 7,500 people Turkish nationals are living in Japan. And there are the Turkish Consulate General in Nagoya, Aichi prefecture, and 3 Honorary Consulate-General Offices in Fukuoka, Wakayama and Osaka, to take care of them.
