Ambassador strengthened cooperation on disaster preparedness with Honjo Life Safety Learning Center

     On 28 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, led officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy on a study visit on disaster preparedness drill at the Honjo Life Safety Learning Center in Tokyo. Mr. KOJIMA Yousuke, Director of the Center, welcomed the party and both sides exchanged views on disaster response in Tokyo, with a view to foster continued cooperation between the two sides in this area.

     During the visit, the Ambassador and officials learned about Japan’s best practices in raising awareness of the severity of natural disasters, as well as self-protecting methods and how to survive in emergency situations namely earthquakes, storms, fires, and floods.
