Ambassador of Thailand to Japan meets with Ambassador of the Lao PDR to Japan

On 9 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan welcomed H.E. Mr. Amphay KINDAVONG, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Japan, at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion Ambassador Witchu congratulated Ambassador Amphay on his assumption of duty. Both sides welcomed the close and longstanding bilateral relations between Thailand and the Lao PDR at all levels. Ambassador Amphay expressed his readiness to further strengthen cooperation within the framework of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT). He also accepted Ambassador Witchu’s invitation to take part in the upcoming ACT Golf 2025 hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in June.
