Ambassador Attends Reception on the Occasion of the Decoration Conferment of the President of Yamamori Inc.

On 23 September 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended a reception hosted by Mr. MITSUBAYASHI Noritada, Chairman of Yamamori Inc. at Nagoya Kanko Hotel, Aichi Prefecture, to congratulate him upon the conferment of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon by the Government of Japan. Also present at the reception were Mr. Akkrapong Chalermnon, Consul-General in Osaka, Mr. MIWA Yoshihiro, Honorary Consul-General in Nagoya, and prominent Japanese political and business figures including H.E. Mr. OKADA Katsuya, Member of the House of Representatives and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and the Honourable Mr. ICHIMI Katsuyuki, Governor of Mie Prefecture.

Mr. MITSUBAYASHI has long been a “Friend of Thailand” and an important partner of the Royal Thai Embassy. He has played a significant and commendable role bridging Thailand and Japan in both economic and cultural spheres, notably through promoting investment of Yamamori Inc. in the production of Thai condiments and ready-to-eat Thai food in both Thailand and Japan as well as initiating and organising the annual Thai Festival in Nagoya since 2005 to showcase Thailand’s vibrant culture.
