Ambassador pays a courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

On 25 November 2025 H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. On this occasion Ambassador Witchu congratulated State Minister KUNIMITSU on her assumption of duty. Both sides exchanged views on ways to advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership through bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of law enforcement, anti- transnational crimes, including online scamming, and the commemoration of the 140th anniversary of Thailand - Japan diplomatic relations, as well as cooperation in multilateral frameworks whereby the Ambassador reiterated Thailand’s support to Japan in the Conference of the Parties to CITES. They also exchanged views on regional issues and the Thailand - Cambodia situation.
