2014.01.10 Kamenori Forum 2014

On 10 January 2014, Royal Thai Embassy representatives attended the Kamenori Forum 2014 at Arcadia Ichigaya Hotel in Tokyo.  The forum was organized by the Kamenori Foundation and International Cultural Exchange and Teaching Japanese in Foreign Countries Support Foundation.  Japanese and non-Japanese students who were supported by the foundation reported about their participation in the program.

The Thai student participating in the program was Ms. Nattarika Surakamhaeng, who studied at Hokkaido Sapporo Intercultural and Technological High School in Hokkaido Prefecture from March 2013-February 2014.  On the other hand, participating high school student from Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, Ms. Chiharu Sugawara, had studied at Kanchananukroh School in Kanchanaburi Province from May 2012-March 2013.

At the forum, ten Kamenori Awards were also granted to NGOs/NPOs which had contributed to social development and culture promotion in Asia.
