2014.01.28 Ambassador’s special lecture on SME in SMRJ’s Thai Business Seminar

On 28 January 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising joined the Thai Business Seminar organized by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SMRJ) at Keidanren Kaikan. The seminar is under CEO Meeting Project, which brings 22 Thai SMEs entrepreneurs to Japan for business matching with Japanese entrepreneurs. It provided useful information for Japanese entrepreneurs who plan to do business in Thailand. Such cooperation was made among SMRJ, Ministry of Industry of Thailand and the Royal Thai Embassy.
450 participants included over 150 Japanese SMEs. The Ambassador gave a 40-minute-special lecture on Thai and Japanese SMEs’ roles in Thai economy. At the same time, Mr. Hiroshi Takada, SMRJ President and Mr. Toshiyuki Yokota, Deputy Director of SME Agency, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, and representatives from the Ministry of Industry of Thailand and Mizuho Bank, also shared detail on attractiveness of investment and business management in Thailand.
