2014.01.30 Thai Royal Decoration Conferment Ceremony

On 30 January 2014, H.E. Mr. Thanatip Upatising, Ambassador of Thailand, precided over the Thai Royal Decoration Conferment Ceremony at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence for Mr. Pascal Furth, Former Counsellor at the French Embassy in Thailand and Mr. Jean-Jacques Pothier, Former Third Secretary at the French Embassy in Thailand. Mr. Furth and Mr. Pothier, both currently posted in the French Embassy here in Tokyo, were honoured for their contirbution in promoting Thai-French relations during their posting in Bangkok in 2008-2012. After the ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador hosted an Afternoon tea in their honour, in which Thai diplomats also participated to congratulate them.
