2014.02.12-13 Ambassador officially visited Okayama

During 12-13 February 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising officially visited Okayama for the first time. He met with Mr. Ryuta Ibaragi, Okayama Governor. Both agreed upon close cooperation on trade, investment and tourism. He expressed his willingness in providing information for Okayama businesspersons who are interested in investing in Thailand.

Ambassador also joined and gave a speech in the thank you party held for Japanese customers of Thai jewelry, owned by Tenyama, Okayama and Chugoku region’s big department store. The Thai jewelry was imported by Kashima Co., Ltd., a Japanese large jewelry firm, which has imported Thai jewelry for over 40 years.

In this occasion, Ambassador also met with Mr. Shogo Ibaragi, President of Tenyama Co., Ltd. He thanked the firm for party invitation and discussed on the potential of future co-promotion of other Thai products besides jewelry.
