On 10 March 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising attended dinner party of Japan ASEAN Business Seminar Organized by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (SMRJ) at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo.

ASEAN and Japan just celebrated our 40^th anniversary of our friendly relations last year in 2013.Especially, The Ambassador Highlighted on ASEAN ‘s role after ASEAN Economic Community has been established .  ASEAN is moving toward the single community in 2015, With the strategic location in a midst of this dynamism, it is clear that ASEAN is the economic hub of the world in the 21^st century. Japan can create win-win relations with ASEAN by contributing to the growth in Asia and growing with ASEAN.
