2014.03.16 Embassy joined “Beach Volleyball in Shinagawa” event

On 16 March 2014, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun and Embassy staff joined the “Beach Volleyball in Shinagawa”, an event organized by Shinagawa City and Shinagawa Tourism Association, held in Chuo-Dori Street, in front of Oimachi Station in Shinagawa City, in order to introduce beach volleyball game, as Shinagawa will be the venue for beach volleyball games in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.

Eight foreign Embassies and Consulates which are located in or maintain close relations with Shinagawa City, including the Royal Thai Embassy, joined and supported the event by running information booth and international food stalls. The Royal Thai Embassy sold grilled Thai chickens, to promote flesh chicken meat from Thailand, which was very much popular among visitors.
