2014.03.19　Luncheon for 8th Thai Speech Contest competitors and lecturers of Kanda University of International Studies

On 19 March 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising invited lecturers from Kanda University of International Studies led by Professor Kyouko Funada, Head of Southeast Asian Languages Department, and students who competed in the 8th Thai Speech Contest at Kanda University of International Studies on 14 December 2013.

Ambassador expressed words of gratitude for the lecturers who created various activities to strengthen friendship between Thailand and Japan and deepen understanding towards Thailand among students.

The 8th Thai Speech Contest was co-organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and Kanda University of International Studies, where 17 students from seven universities such as Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Tokyo), Osaka University (Osaka), Tsukuba University (Ibaraki), Keio University (Tokyo), Meiji University (Tokyo) , Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto) and Kanda University of International Studies (Chiba), gave their speech under the theme, “Love”.
