Six-year-old Jate Vanasin received an award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in the 44th International Children’s Art Exhibition. The event was organized by Biiku Bunka Kyokai (The Foundation of Art Education in Japan). Out of 60,206 art pieces from 38 countries nominated for the Ministry’s awards, Jate’s “Dragon Factory” was among the ten selected pieces. The award ceremony was held at Tokyo National Museum on 31 March 2014. Miss Pakvipa Ahviphan, First Secretary, represented Jate in receiving the award, which will be later delivered to him.
