2014.05.03 Hiroshima Flower Festival 2014

On 3 May 2014, Minister Singtong Lapisatepun participated in the Hiroshima Flower Festival 2014 and visited the booth which Hiroshima-Thai Association attended as an exhibitor to promote Thai Fruits, supported by the Embassy. The Hiroshima Flower Festival is held annually in Hiroshima, which attracts more than 1,000,000 visitors every year. The Association sold Thai mangoes and Nanglae pineapples in their booth. This pineapple is developed by Associate Professor Dr. Pittaya Sruamsiri of Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University, who is responsible for the project of development of Thai fresh pineapple for export under the Japan - Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement (JTEPA).
